| CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL MUSIC! RUOVESI 2013 |
|
| The Chamber Music Festival Music! Ruovesi will be held for the eighth time starting June 26 thru June 30, 2013. Before the actual festival, on June 8, we will jump the gun with a concert by a full-sized symphony orchestra – for the first time in Sofia Magdalena Church's history.
The artistic director of the Festival is Okko Kamu, one of Finland’s top conductors. The concerts will take place in the charming wooden churches of Virrat and Kuru, in the Pekkala Manor former stable, which is renovated for concert purposes, as well as in Ruovesi’s Sofia Magdalena Church, famous for its excellent acoustics.
